"Stairway To The Stars"

There's a winding Starlit Stairway

that leads up to the Stars

it has magic starlit steps

and its' banisters have Starlit Bars

 

and beyond the Stars, the Heavens

beckon magically

they offer mortals certain hope

for all eternity

 

The Stairs are not just for

the rich

but they're for us

one and all

 

they're there to use

for those of us

who hear a higher

call

 

the call is inspiration

a want to better be

a need to elevate oneself

to a better place to see

 

To find the stairs

one needs but hope

and wish out to

the Stars

 

and aspire to do things

differently

to be all one

admires

 

then close your eyes

and fervently

reflect on your desires

believe that it is possible

to have what hope requires

 

this done then take

with hope and faith

the step from here to there

the first transforming trembling step

upon the Starlit Stair!
