Have you ever noticed

This is made in loving memory of my doggie Sabrina

Have you ever noticed when you cry, how the sky turns grey. 

Have you ever noticed that beautiful rainbow, after the rain. 

Dreaming something with all you heart and it finally comes true. 

That's what I feel when I'm with you. 

Have you ever noticed the stars as they seem to light your way threw the darkness, 

almost God's way of saying, "don't be afraid, I'm right here." 

Have you noticed how easy a heart can break, but how easily it can be mended. 

Beating again like it was for the very first time.

 Have you noticed, noticed when in times of trouble, God is always there. 

even when you can't see you know his love is here. 

Do you know just how special you are? 

So smile as the sun starts to rise cause it's a new day 

of hope and you''ll never know what you might find. 

I know you've noticed God, I hope you see I've noticed too. 

That all good things that happen, are because of you.

Author's Note

This was written this morning. I sadly lost my best friend, but I am definitely keeping positive and I know that she is in a better place. She was and still is my little one and those who do not have pets please be considerate as you leave comments. I am going to miss her so much. I feel so blessed to have had my best friend since I was 10 years old. I am 23 now... I thank god for always answering my prayers. I also thank the ones around me that have helped me get threw this. I love you so much Sabrina and I hope you are happy and know just how loved you are xoxo

My Mom's dog is 15-16 years old and is starting to lose her hearing. We know her passing will come sooner than later, and we're trying to brace ourselves for it now. Of course, that won't make it any easier (especially for Mom) but your words are uplifting as always, and you always know how to look at things from the bright side. I'm genuinely sorry for the loss of your best friend, but I believe all that you've said here. Nicely done my friend :)

Keeping you guys in my thoughts. Its the hardest thing but just tell her this if the time ever does come. It gave me peace and helps me daily. I have had my dog for that long as well. Tell her that nit all dogs get to live so long, so know they are loved. Its such a blessing when you know your the reason they stay another year. I feel blessed to have had her a part of my life for so long. She is still a part of my life, but in a more beautiful and spiritual way. Thank you so much for your kind words. I feel sincerely humbled.

Your dog is adorable! :D she actually looks a lot like my Rocky, but he's a bit bitter. He's been in my family for the past 15 years now and he's still energetic and full of life, I don't know what I will do when I eventually passes though...

As with love ones...a pet is a member of the family...this reflective piece shows through to the reader and your thoughts are vindicated in the lines...yet the best thing is writing down those feelings to give comfort and move in a right direction...Our dog is 21 years of age...and Rocky is doing well...the Vet says besides grow pains he perfectly in good health...sorry for your lost...I'm sure Rainbow Bridge awaits your pet...
