Mirroring

Mirroring

A Poem by Anna

I am your mirror.
I am the image of everything around me.
Stand in front of me, and see yourself there.
I am the reflection of every one I meet, and every one I know;
Perhaps they do not like me because of the flaws I show.
Yet who stands in front of me the most?
Perhaps they like that I am exactly who they are.
I smile when they smile, the exact same smile.
I laugh, I gesture, I cry the exact same way they do;
yet they do not love me, when I mirror you.

Deep. Reminds me of someone who has issues with them self.

This poem reminds me of mystic/sufi poetry which harbors the same idea as this poem holds. Great piece of art :)

The mirror show real face. I liked the thoughts leading to honest ending. Thank you Anna for sharing your amazing poetry.
