loneliness

It is a lonely life for some

If I could paint you a picture
Of loneliness would you understand
When I feel lonely
I don't feel a part of anything
no-one to share my thoughts with
Or perhaps laugh
Not even a hug once in a while
No partner to share my life
Oh boy do I feel lonely
When I sit here and stare
At the four walls my mind goes
crazy,I sit there gazing for hours
With nothing to do
And nowhere to go
Just an empty room
no life no music no laughter
The silent walls
gaze down at me
Perhaps they even grin at me
Oh you poor we thing
My bed becomes my companion
every other day.
The only voices that i hear all day
Is the voices on the TV soaps
Sad as that may be.
Its the only life that I know
Sometimes if I feel up to it
I will company myself to the supermarket
Sit down and have a wee bite to eat
just to be amongst people
So that I might stay sane.
