I hate people SO BLOODY MUCH

I am done

Oh, God, I am so done

I'm done with racism

I'm done with sexism

I've finished with abuse

I'm long done with rape

I can't stand anymore homophobia

Nor can I any longer bear the cross of religion

I hate people

And I hate hatred

I'm sick of this f*****g world

I can't last another minute in this Hell we call Earth

I won't live a clean life

If I'm forced to coexist with such horrid

Judgemental

Pitiful

Evil

Dangerous

Ignorant

People

People

I feel almost generous giving them such a name

So many of these people don't deserve a title so great

To be called a person should be an honour

And these-

Creatures

Are no honourable beings

You think you deserve to be called a person

After belittling your neighbour

For something they can't control?

Do you even think you deserve such a name

After raping your fellow human​​​?

After using religion as an excuse to abuse another

You honestly think you should be called a person?

Ha!

You truly are a funny little being

But your humour entertains me no longer

It is people like you

Who give humanity a bad name

It is people like you

Hi Rose, I read this with great interest, as it's a lot of what I agree with. What worried me is when I read your profile and saw you were only 14. It saddens me that someone so young can view the world this way. Your poem was certainly not "the worst poem written in existence" but one I feel that shows such an honest and candid expression of the world today. Well done young Rose, this is truly a great piece of work, but my advice to you... don't forget the good, it's there too, it just can be more difficult to see :-)

Thank you! I know that the world is full of greatness, it's just so hard to see sometimes. But I guess I just need to open my eyes a bit wider and start looking. :)

Dear poet, your poem is raw and it strikes chords of truth. I like it.
I think you, perhaps, place to high of an expectation on the titles 'people' and 'person'. A cursory inspection of human history will reveal that people have always behaved this way. All of the ignorance and violence and hatred is part of the human creature. We do have our beautiful, creative, nurturing side; but we also have our dark side. Your poem directly address this dark side.
Not many 'people' realize that the Planet Of The Apes movies were not really about humans against apes, but humanity's nurturing side against humanity's violent side. The movies ask the question "Ultimately, which side will win?"
You are young, but you are not dumb. Your eyes see and your soul feels...and your poems express your points of view. Well done.
