Epilogue Of Summer

Epilogue Of Summer

A Poem by Ross Emerson Realino

Rest in peace
It's over
The season is dead
But the sun is still up

Chasing the wind that hit my face
I'll never forget the way it tastes
We've got nothing left to say
But it's okay

Smiles and countless sunshine
Letters that were never sent
Distant faces we thought were near
Unexpected turnovers
Daydream in a cloud nine
Inspirations and aspirations
Moments of summer love
Are now just photographs in mind

It's all clear now
The truth has set me free
Although pain is inevitable
But there'll be no more hopes and expectations

I was just dreaming alone
But thanks for the time
And for all those sunny days

It will never be the same
But at least I know you're fine
And you know I'm alright
We're fine and everything's alright
Seasons may change but not the memories
Life flows on within you and without you

About
I used to try writing songs before but I can't make one, so I tried to find something where I can put my early works of lyrics. Until they were turned into poems. I started poetry when I was 16 years .. more..
