The National Anthem

The National Anthem

A Poem by Ross Emerson Realino

All rise for the anthem
Courage, peace, and purity
Three idiots under the sun
Eight rays of disintegration
Overflowing information
Lesser education
Everyone
Everyone around
You, hiding behind your name
Raise your hand and walk in shame
Power, money, and guns
Can I take you for a final dance?
Brother, take the power back
To the masses of the dead
And to the children of the grave
For truth will make them clean
The Bill of Rights is a bill for sale
Our tomorrow is either head or tail
Pig heads and sleepy heads
Tax and sell my will to live
Motherland of heroes
A dope show of the hoes
Mother of justice
Harlot of the elites
Oh God save the human race
Save us from all disgrace
Freemen under the computer
Freemen under the manipulator
Say that I am free
Yes! I am free!

About
I used to try writing songs before but I can't make one, so I tried to find something where I can put my early works of lyrics. Until they were turned into poems. I started poetry when I was 16 years .. more..
