How petty am I?

I am but a petty dog looking for someone to hold the leash. The Perfect Yes man just wanting to serve some sort of purpose unsure of where I really should be going. Always perfectly attentive and perfectly behaved. Yet always seem to be replaced with some other mut that people find cuter. Oh your such a good boy, the words I did not ever hear as a child and forever shaped as an adult. The perfect yes men, the perfect worker, the perfect citizen, the perfect dog. That is who ill always be.
