Could almost sum up the first half of your poem as "We are our own gods and rule as such". I have a few lines in a poem of mine that goes:

"My body be
a temple seized
within storms so deep in fantasy"

The words you chose to capitalize were a perfect choice where inspiration comes from deep within and has that process of being understood at the best of times to motivate one's self!! Beautiful poem... xoxo -Mark
