Silence

Avoiding expectations

with unsure motivations,

I linger in this silent gaze

believing I'm mistaken.

I've never been so taken

through out the years unshaken.

I hide my fears

and lonely tears

My love has been forsaken.

Though time has not corroded

or distances eroded

I will not speak

or dream to keep

because this love's forboded. 

So my life continues

throughout the days and venues

I'll never see

what it could be

because I couldn't tell you.
