Save me the pain

Save me the pain

A Poem by Rudi J.P. Lejaeghere
"

The best things in life are unexpected - because there were no expectations. Eli Khamarov

"

It takes so long, the expecting that I seek,

I don’t see it coming, not even soon,

it’s the wet kiss on my yearning cheek

tomorrow, the fall in the trees on the moon

the aching, the silver glimmer in the dew,

the man who’ll come out of the little child,

to look further than today, to see the withdrew

of the cold out of the ice, storming mild,

I’m tired of waiting till somebody tells,

knowledge before the knowing, I’ll be,

open the doors without a key, without magic spells,

make me drunk, yet even before drinking wine

whatever I say, whatever you see in me

save me the pain, just save me the time.

I liked this alot
Something about your writing is magical
You can take one places

This impatience just shows the urgency to live free
With no waiting and no restrictions
Can you build me a little home here ?
I can live in your words

Very good words and thoughts.
"make me drunk, yet even before drinking wine
whatever I say, whatever you see in me
save me the pain, just save me the time."
Above lines were my favorite. Thank you Rudi for sharing your outstanding poetry.

Thanks Ana B., really appreciated. :) Rudi
'It takes too long' and 'I'm tired of waiting' - fitting lines demonstrating impatience. The photo strengthens the message times waits for no one and life is short. So, lets put it all on the table now so we don't waste our lives waiting to see it. A great write, Rudi!

Waiting is the hardest part (Tom Petty)..Sometimes a moment can seem like a year. Anticipating, craving - desiring, and assuming disappointment. To me it's almost like a coming of age; the man who’ll come out of the little child, to look further than today, to see the withdrew of the cold out of the ice, storming mild. It is beautiful writing Rudi; the ending roars passion, and many individual lines could be pondered. I love it. Thank you so very much. You were born to write. Just amazing. Dale
