Chained Up

Chained Up

A Poem by Rudie Rock
"

Just some thoughts on social media and the internet.

"
I am linked to a world that isn't even real.
This world is a place where no one has a face.
Everyone knows eachother at least the masks we all wear.
We are all strangers.
We all have the same desires.
The need to feel noticed.
The need to be seen.
The need to be locked infront of the screen.
This is a digital age
where we all sit contently in our selfmade cage.
We post things and wait for likes to validate our existence.
We do not need this but everyone has developed a dependance.
At one time is was concept of advancement
now it has you chained up on desplay at the global zoo.
Don't feel guilty because I have done it too.

First thing I noticed was that a couple of the lines, you forgot to capitalize the first word. I love the message of this poem very much, but I would suggest adding or subtracting a few syllables here and there to make it flow a bit easier. All in all, great
