we are monsters

Two lines from another poem I wrote entitled, "we are history." A good pair of lines that I want to also publish separately as a couplet. Really meaningful and made me think about what I means and how it applies to life and people.

we are monsters; we never forgive.

we move one, but we never really live.

Very true words and much needed to be spoken. Monsters we are as we pretend to forgive and then wait for the moment to turn the tide back on the one that caused the hurt. You should frame these words.
