Ashamed

Ashamed

A Poem by WriderParker
"

If the dead man could talk to us, what would he say?

"
Ashamed of my past faults, I remain
I avow my own iniquities
But in my vault, cut off, from confession
Leaden in my lurid and cold last home
This haunting hill is where I lay, endlessly
The worms shall eat on the tainted reeking meat
The fate of all is to suffer as I
To forever more remain in their grave
I avow my own iniquities
Ashamed of my past faults, I remain.

There is a good look to the poem when it is centered. I'm using my iPod to post this. What do you all think?

I don't know. I try to learn from the mistakes from the past. I believe better to move on and try to create some good karma. Poem is powerful. Some deeds in a life can't be forgiven. I like the ending. A excellent poem.

this poem clearly expresses the emotion of ashamed. maybe you could of described a little bit of the dead person's past.. however, i thought it was really strong poem..
