Iris SongA Poem by Spencer Barker
A fluttering of wings, oh how they shine.
Her eyes, approaching the light that now streams, a river mounting its torrent. A bluish of glean, how ever so clean they are. A shutter and yet again the torrent. A glancing of green, a note of sheen, but no matter, how it makes me dream. And yet again, do her eyes sing the song of beauty.
