Though Silent

Though Silent

A Poem by Spencer Barker
"

Happy holidays, all!

"
Though silent it was,
the gentle streaming of warmth it 'twas.
Candles a-flicker,
nutcrackers a-glow,
ornaments glitter,
and beyond a snow.
The couches,
their leather,
their hides so soft,
the inhabitants they stay,
oh how they are aloft.
The fire grows,
the logs they sow,
together we lay,
and to the end,
a very merry Christmas to all!
