You Girl

You Girl

A Poem by Spencer Barker

Ivy climbs,
her tastes rhyme.
Birds sing,
she strides.
Flowers shutter,
her sight mentioned.
You take in all,
not with a mention of direction,
she leads.
Onlookers glance,
she stares ahead.
Passion peals,
tires squeal.
Stones fade,
grasses underlay.
Clouds part,
lights give rise.
