The Only Thing Missing

The Only Thing Missing

A Poem by C.N.Moore

Ripples spread the waters face,
blue and bright perfectly placed,
clearer than the morning sky,
softer than the sweetest eye.
A lonely tree so tall and pure,
standing strong so bold and sure,
forever watching the rippled tide,
swaying with affirming pride.
Joined by the softest sand,
where the waters end becomes the land,
relaying message from water to tree,
keeping their secrets for eternity.
Every time I see this place,
I cannot help the smile on my face,
the only thing this photo lacks,
are you and I with the sun on our backs.

This is the painting poem you speak of. It has a delicate feel to it. Like we are participating in a nature film. Picturesque in quality.
