Just Maybe

Just Maybe

A Poem by S.E.C.
"

Maybe a plead, Maybe a hope, Maybe an apology, Mabe just an unwanted rant...

"

So maybe I get stubborn,

And don't want to talk about it.

Maybe I am just too quiet,

Yet still give you that oh so terrible headache.

I might be annoying, cunning, devious,

            Scared.

But maybe that headache might be heartache.

And maybe you'll remember how I really am.

You might stop guessing my actions,

And realize you already know them.

And then maybe you'll see me, for the first time, in a long time.

Then again, maybe you'll just forget about me.

Forget that maybe I'm just here, in this moment, hoping that

Maybe for once you'll be okay.

Just Maybe.

This would be a catchy song. =P The whole time I was like singing it, so that was fun.

I really enjoyed this poem of yours. I love how uncertain it is. "maybe that headache might be heartache." It's like when you get out of a relationship you try to mask yourself, you try to hide it all away. Damn, that sounds really corny and clich'e, but whatever.

Awesome write, thanks for entering.
