A Poem by Sean

I'm adrift in monotony.

Sameness is a killer

and this is suicide.

Once, I was unbroken

and bullish with life,

toasted to never suffering

the indignities of aging.

I fear I've fallen ill,

a lingering infection,

the indirection of youth.
