My friends

My friends

A Poem by SUGATA M

My extinct, sparrow-like friends
Lacking sort of trends,
Seeking alerted answer
Amidst Tropic of Cancer,
Jingling bellow deep inside Space,
Simply gregarious and grace,
Piling up perceptions in Equatorial meadows
Through series of sassy windows,
Ragged Bagpiper hailed from the East
Equally vulturous and viporous beast.
Beating drums on the soil of Moon
Holy, sigmoidal but methodical croon.

I only reciprocate in Facebook to someone invisible like me,
That’s the only thing that can I do, dear friends of mine, for thee.

If I get this right this is a sonnet ; I admire poets who use structure.. fine poem !

The last stanza sums up this piece nicely and clearly conveys the emotions you wanted to be shown.
