The Fragile Expression Of Fancy Animals

The Fragile Expression Of Fancy Animals

A Poem by S.S.P.
"

appreciation and hope without the blips and computers chips ;) 7/10/09

"

bless the addicts of antiquated arts.

guilty in the pleasures of regression.

disciples of dated imperfections

holding in high esteem

the value of wear and tear

time earned

spent

against

the grind faced once upon the gone

and fought by human hearts

hands

to implant fragments of their souls

into the fibers of their works.

monuments to mollify

the sting of stale existence

passions always

outweighing pay

always

in all ways.

the fragile expressions of fancy animals

and the bodies that breathe them in

are the twine that bind my sanity

and a spark of hope for man.

Yes- bless those who treasure memory and keep it an alive and breathing thing. Bless them, indeed, for without them, we would have an Ikea world of functional utilitariansim and strictly modern sensibility. Give me something organic and old and imperfect any day.

It's...beautiful. Tweak it if you must, but I really enjoyed it as-is. Definitely going in my favorites!

Metal. This is one of my new faves. My favorite line is "the sting of stale existence". Keep on churning 'em out my friend. Good stuff...
