Pumpkin Carriage

Pumpkin Carriage

A Poem by maryam
"

the person who inspired this piece is still in my life for whatever reason actually most of my writings are about them they're oblivious as how I feel and I like it that way.

"
I could see you in the daylight dingy and bare. in the splendid sweetness of this place. the shimmer of the sunlight kissing your honey cheek. caressing it in hopes of witnessing the winkling sunshine in your eyes. dreamier than a field laced with colored orchids. two planets on orbit, is what we are. two parallel lines never meant to cross. better off apart but my soul begs to differ, when the moonlight creates my lonely silhouette. on the wall where once our favorite vinyls were placed. I can no longer see you nor feel your presence. I've got no balance it's unpleasant. would you come again and soothe this ache? would you mend this break without a quake? would you not leave my soul perplexed again, searching for your presence? would you make me feel like home again?
