Pagan's Breath

Pagan's Breath

A Poem by Saffy

The wind blows gracefully,
The birds fly nimbly,
The world keeps turning,
Yet in this moment everything stands still.

Here I stand,
Alone,
With my world.

The sun sets slowly,
The stars shine brightly,
The world keeps turning,
Yet in this moment everything stands still.

Here I stand,
Alone,
With my world.

The waves crash suddenly,
The river flows fiercely,
The world keeps turning,
Yet in this moment everything stands still.

Here I stand,
Alone,
With my world

You nourish me,
You shelter me,
You are my world,
I am merely a pilgrim on your trail.
Indebted to your world, I stand still.

It's a tribute to the world, Mother Earth. It's beautiful. I especially like the last paragraph.

Yh at times I do feel like we r in a kind of pause whereas the rest of the world keeps on doing what it does.
And at that time I realize how beautiful this world is!
