A Passenger

A Passenger

A Poem by Sahm Moore

concentration isn’t a thing i can do anymore.

i’m a passenger in my own mind,

incapable of following directions or getting to my desired destination.

you’re a usurper, commandeering my thoughts.

it’s always you.

i ache for you and all your broken pieces.

I'm not a poet and I *hate* to call this poetry. It's more just thoughts and feelings.

About
As a gay kid in a small Texas town I knew I was different than a lot of my friends. I wasn't sure where or how I fit in. So, I fell in love with books and worlds I so easily drifted into. Looking back.. more..
