Common Thread

I don’t know the toss and turn of your stormy sea. 

I only know the yearning for you to come back to port. 

You know me and my nerdy streak. 

You know google has been getting lots of my attention. 

There are so many fascinating intricacies to all of this. 

But the common thread is: a shift will come"the mood will change.

And I’ll still be here. 

Where else would I go?
