Spaceman

Spaceman

A Poem by Sally Sparrow

The pounding heartbeat of the universe pulses with the samba in your chest
Revolutions around you, the lonely survivor of the war beyond the stars
Neither love, nor chains, nor death can stop your storm of fire and ice
The impossible, brilliant, fantastic spaceman from Gallifrey
A thousand years of torment, and all you can do is smile
