Silent Bells

Silent Bells

A Poem by Sam

People ask, for whom do the bells toll?

It's not like in the movies

There were no bells that day

No rain no bagpipes no crying birds

It's not like in the movies

Six years later I still hurt

I still cry

I still wonder

It's not like in the movies

Not there to teach me to drive

Not there to watch me throw my cap

Not there to walk me down the aisle

Not there to hold my baby

Not there to hold my hands through the years

It's not like in the movies

There were no bells that day

But god I can still here them ringing

I am so sorry for your loss. Please read I Miss You Baby Girl for the other side of your heartache.
And keep writing with your heart!

Breathtaking! Absolutely beautiful and haunting in your tenderness and pain. The loss is felt by all who read your precious words.
