Church

Church

A Poem by Samantha Tamburello

Fold your palms and break your bread if you think it will help you explain the tears you have shed.
Join your hands and get down on your knee if you think it is the light that you will see.
But I do not need ashes on my forehead and I do not need a crucifix over my bed to justify the beliefs I store in my head.
I feel the Lord's presence with me right now and I'd like to see you prove me wrong somehow.
I don't need others explaining anything to me when I already don't sin or cause any cruelty.
I love my neighbors and don't cause strife, so the Lord will always be in my life.

Very true points... It's an honest write... It's about doing what is right, that's what the Lord wants us to do, He never asked us to wear something to prove our faith, He wants us to have faith in our heart, that will be enough for our Father... He knows who we are and what in our hearts... Such a powerful write frnd...

Sincerely
