Moon & Stars

Moon & Stars

A Poem by $amala

When the biggest rains are descending over my head

I just sit and wonder, how much I could enjoy under this fall

When skies above commence to bark at times

I stare and ponder how I could ignore this aggressive charm

When lights hung, are winking at nights

I pause and tender their uncertain answers sometimes

When duties are mingled with several patterns

I embrace and conquer their petite pinch

When a half-baked toast is adorning my bowl

I sense and taste my baked slice

When the drought around sucks my greenery days

I wander and say, that I prefer the muddy brown

When I lost the ace at the finale second by the border

I smirk and dress up for the remaining combats

When the strings broke into pieces, amidst of all

I awake and hum the best note I caught

At times I could be a moon or a star

When trouble troubles
