Slow and careful

Her heart tears so fast

From one to many scars

From the worst of her past

She wraps up the pieces that remain

Slow and careful not to make it worse

Then all the years and different pain

 

She writes her story on her arm

Slow and careful not to mess up

Not caring how much she does harm

Holding strong to the knife

Her head grows light

She says goodbye to her life

 

Her body begins to sway

And her vision fades

Slow and careful she finds a place to lay

She tires again

Knife in hand

It glides across, smooth as a pen

 

It starts to rain

They all gather outside

Crying through the pain

Slow and careful the casket falls

Saying fairwell to all around,

Saying fairwell to the girl from the halls

to tell you the truth i dont think this is very good o_O o.o..... this isnt about me or anyone in perticular i just kinda got the idea and wrote this.... n people needa stop freakin out about it or ill take it down T_T

haha loved the author's note! As for the poem I disagree with you in that I feel that it is very well written and in my opinion one of your better pieces of dark poetry. It's stark and real but with just the right amount of emotion.

I happen to think this is a well crafted and powerful piece. It carries with it a flow that allows the scene to come to life and rise and then fall into the grave, as it is, in a way that's almost magical.
