  Help me find my heart for it is lost in my mind

Trailing the sound of it, but always a half beat away

I’m starting to believe that it doesn’t want to be found

  I’ve given up with no heart, no love 

My empty desperate tears falling with no purpose

What was the point of all of this?

  To feel the hidden meaning of his touch?

To understand his wanting of me?

The amount of work and commitment  

It’s not worth it

  I found my heart withered in a corner

A beat only barely audible 

It was too far gone, I let it die

  I felt no pity for it, no feelings of sorrow 

No heart, no love

Every heart is worthy enough of another heart all we just need is to focus on it.
In your words your heart is lost in your mind but it is the mind that acts as heart for us. So its not lost only the thoughts of love are hidden away from your senses, memory and from your heart as you say.
