A healthy alternative to the American 'Sloppy Joe' sandwich

"
What you will need:

1 package of Morning Star veggie crumbles (a meatless, cholesterol-free ground beef substitute);
1 15-oz can of diced tomatoes;
1 large can (about 30 oz) of tomato sauce;
1 tsp Tabasco sauce;
1 tsp red pepper;
1/2 green bell pepper;
1 medium yellow onion (coarsely chopped);
3 green onions (finely chopped);
1 jalapeno pepper (finely chopped) (optional - use it if you want it HOT)
2 tbsp barbeque sauce;
2 tsp Enova (or light) cooking oil

Directions:

In large, deep skillet (preferrably a chef's pan), brown chopped yellow onion in 2 tsp oil and saute until fully caramelised; add all other ingredients and simmer for about an hour over medium-low heat. Put between two slices of your favourite bread and Bon Appetite!

If you want to watch calories, I recommend Nature's Own sandwich rounds. They're whole grain, have anywhere from 3 to 5 grams of protein, and only 100 calories per round! With about 1/4 cup of the veggie BBQ mixture inside one of these rounds, you are consuming only about 200 calories!
