Discontent

Discontent

A Poem by Sayre

And as he sat upon his rooftop
And gazed at the moon
It stared back with discontent
Pondering on this, he stared
And the moon gazed back with discontent
Hours upon hours, their secrets unfolded to one another
with only the silence of their eyes
Their words were something of illusion
Something of crypts;
Of tongues
