their screams in harmony.

Once God in their gentle eyes.

Anger made you terrorize.

Made me a wretched beast.

Part of your indulgent feast.

Snuffed out the fragile light.

Forever to fear the night.

No guilt for what you've done.

Yet now you dare to run.

I'll show you what it's like

to beg for your pathetic life.

Malicious tragedy

Gave birth to a monstrosity.

From here to eternity,

I will forever be...

Porcelain vampire.

Time-lost defiler.

Cold as the blood underneath the skin.

Shadow of the pure soul once within.

Depraved and desolate,

Relentlessly violent.

Jet wings and sanguine eyes.

Nightmare immortalized.

Demon of recompense.

Your profane consequence.

One day I'll return your rage

now that I'm free of this cage.

Whispered steps up the stairs.

Final screams devour the air.

Crimson fangs, the original sin.

You'll never hurt me again.

Porcelain vampire.

This a lovely dark poem and it's like being in the Victorian age or something from Bram Stoker's Dracula. I love the style you have that is rather Gothic and antique. It's so beautiful!

I'm glad you liked it. I had initially thought to write this as a song, but scratched the idea in lieu of something a bit more succinct. I think the effect is stronger this way, and I'm delighted to hear it brought such comparisons to mind. Thank you.
