winter fire

winter fire

A Poem by Mason Vail
"

Suddenly, I don't want to be HERE...

"

bitter chilling winds

lovers' winter fire within

all the heat they need

As spring approaches, the chill of winter quickly becomes a distant memory, but the warmth of love is never forgotten.

Dear Mason,

A very nice haiku. And so true. I like untraditional haiku that don't deal simply with nature, but go beyond to describe the human condition.

Best regards,

Rick
