The PolesA Poem by ScottlehemA poem of despair.I once knew the polls as places of public policy matters and how tawdry its become when Clinton got elected and Bush wouldn’t heed ‘cause Gore made it certain for courts to decide While I once knew a pope that made an institution expansive as hordes of worshipers still found Jesus Christ and now jelly fish sting mercilessly in waters we’ve forsaken as those hurt the most. And so I once knew a leader that had a heart to make them stand together or alone as the case may be for a cause we’d understand as faith has moved mountains that molecules haven’t forsaken and Warsaw has left its share. © 2012 ScottlehemReviews
