Being Different.A Poem by TheScribblersDiaryThey might tell me that I'm worthless. Sometimes it hurts, I confess. But that doesn't mean I'm Sorry.
Everyone should have a dream. Something to keep us swimming upstream. Maybe mines a little different. But I mean it, I Believe it.
Shouldn't have to love you One day. Then watch you throw your life away. We're all fighting our own battles.
Don't tell me that I don't know. How much pain do I have to show? Maybe we're all a little different. Cause I mean it, I Believe it.
They tell me I shouldn't say a word. Speaking against suicide is unheard. But I refuse to listen.
So they tried to make me compromise. Bury me underneath their white lies. So I tried to act indifferent. But I felt it, and I fought it.
Don't tell me suicide is okay. To watch a friend throw their life away. You won't make me Believe it.
I don't care what you do to me. So what if we don't agree. That's what they call being different. You can't change it, don't forget it. © 2011 TheScribblersDiary |
