Call

Call

A Poem by Scribbles
"

Waiting by the phone poem

"

Seconds
Drip
By
Waiting
Watching
Staring
Ticking

Never-Ending
Never-Ceasing
Suppose I could wax lyrical about
The ebb and flow of life
the time we lose
the minutes hours and weeks
that die

Yet still I lie
Waiting
Watching
Staring
Ticking

Never-ending
Never-Ceasing
Precious seconds
Moments
minutes
more!

Not wasted though
Well that depends
On whether, you decide

to call.

I loved the formatting and vocabulary! I'm sure many can relate to the impatient feelings expressed in this. :) A very interesting read, and one that I rather enjoyed. Great poem!
