Intuition

Intuition

A Poem by Michelle N. H.

There is a butterfly

With wings of glass

Blue as the ocean or

The heavens when

Uncovered by clouds

There is a butterfly

With an icy stare

That instantly pins me

To her heart

And with her

A twinkling sound as

She flutters before me

Whilst leaving a trail

Of crystals amid

A snowy landscape

For me to behold

And carefully tread

As she pours a whisper

Into the air for

The wind to carry

Forward and be felt

Your poem flows like a breeze, enveloping the reader with a subtle nuance of feels. I can feel the sentence give me tingles like some sort of ASMR trigger, keeping me alert yet in a state of complete bliss. Very visually and mentally stimulating read. Enjoyed it a lot.

A glimpse into your lovely heart.
The real beauty is not in the butterfly..but in the describer.

Admiration.

I'm so glad you enjoyed this one, Tia ^^ Thanks.
I just think you are that beautiful butterfly Michelle, your intuition lays right before you... ;) and is so great, always. You have feelers... a great serene metaphor here, whimsical winter beauty. Thank you dear.

That just makes my evening. Thank you, Brittany :)
i really like the "butterfly with an icy stare that pins me"

the tables turn as the insect pins me---not to a board, a piece of wood, but to her heart...

butterfly flutterby.

a perfect blend of images and metaphors in this piece.
