6. If We All Deserve Life.

A Poem by Seb Harris

1.        If I could write

I would never write in lists

Some numerals

And grocery items

Are not poetic

2.        If I wrote lists

They'd be the illest lists

You've ever heard

Keeping you on your feet

Just guessing at

What might…

Come…

3.        If my lists were raw

They'd be death lists

Focused, simple, colorful

Like Uma Thurman in Kill Bill

I would stab my way through it

Crossing off names and lives

With the katana blade of my pen

4.        If my lists were killer

(In both senses of the word)

I would require infinite ink

5.        If you are on my bomb ass death list

Don't be stressed

Because not only will I bring death peacefully

Don't be offended

Because I'm on the list too

As is my mother and father,

The cookie monster

And my best friend

I do this because my death list

Is really a list of redemption.

6.        If we all deserve life...
