Seeing past everything in sight

I figured I'll try to put up more writing at a decent rate, poems are somewhat my strong point, though I will try to do a story at some point.

Seeing everyone have fun does hurt a bit
Knowing that if you break the silence of a thousand laughs you'll be frowned upon by all there
I'll admit that sometimes being lonely doesn't bring everything to the table, that maybe I should take a chance on the whims I fear and do not speak

Yet watching everyone has shown me what i never would have seen
It's a side of humanity at when they're their happiest, or at least forgetting sorrows harboring over them

I see the laughs, I see each conversation as a memory that isn't necessarily mine to keep, but rather to look over

Of course I know I might regret it later on, that I'll wish I had gone past all fears
However the gate isn't bad,
It's not showing me something I can never have
It's showing me the possibilities of how beautiful life can be
How pain doesn't necessarily last forever, and just why these people are friends, til the end.
