My thoughts about my friendship that I thought would last through the years, but its coming to a quick end...

Its slow, but its certain

this drift of ours

we're leaving behind all that we've built

the bridge, the bond,

everthing.

And for what? Precious words

conforting actions

by a man that has lived shorter in your eyes

then me.

Please, don't let this be

I want us to see

that we ARE good friends

and not a distant memory.

My laughter misses your silly words

My heart twinkles whenver I'm with you.

My soul calles out to you too.

I feel as though I've grown with you through the ups and downs.

So please, as I enter a new page in this book called life.

I wanna grow.

One more time.

With you that is.

Possibly missing a friend who has been swept away in love.. I could be wrong here but that is what I took from it.. your friend may just be swept away for a bit in passion.. as when we first meet that romance we do tend to get carried away! No matter where friends go though ... they can always be with you in your heart so never let that go! Simply embrace that your friend has found someone special (even if you don't approve) and try to be there when you can for them. The greatest friendships never die.. no matter the distance or time spent away from one another! Thank you so much for sharing! =)
