Standards of beautyA Poem by S. S. Allen
Full lips
Kinky hair Wide hips. Luring eyes A tempting smile. A woman lies beneath. She's not beautiful And I'll tell you why.. There are no mirrors on the wall. There are no fairest of them all. Her song comes on. She dances alone. No fears of opinions. No fears of scorn. With a spirit so untamed Fire rages from within But her heart beats, it skips... Comfortably in her own skin © 2017 S. S.
