Porcelain

A Poem by Seriana
"

A little revision and dusty off from some time ago....

"

Porcelain

We should write of this world as though it were the wisdom of life…

life to come...

pleasantries poised in this very moment,

from remembrances which were…and never could be.

A dreamers’ ruse rises beyond this fragile plume of night.

A silent,

heady,

intoxicating bloom…

seized upon one perennial solo eve.

How oft it is the skies turn so midnight…

...blue?

The alliteration of twilight always lifts the aching within.

The distant wind whispers,

exhaling in lofty tenderness,

far, far too soon...

floating to the hum of the distant reaching moon…

There is comfort in the know,

comfort amidst terror in the sages of delightful sight.

In cadence does she surrender her shadow play,

anew.

Perhaps it has come to matter of nothing….

That we should write of this world as though it were the window to life……

Reading your soul in letters here... from the name... pure and white... writing of the world as we wish, with all our hearts. How that is the gift of the poet... beautiful, moving life comes through your words... dark and light... So much slips through our fingers... so much we desire... may we learn to create a world filled with all we could hope for.

wow, there is such hope in this piece...
the way the world is in such chaos now....we need that "window to life"

but these days that dream of peace does seem a ruse....your words come together in such rhythm....
great read....

As if standing at the window of the poets mind, smooth words take us to new places and visions. Your poem is quite deep and thought creating. What is it that we see when we look? What do we expect, what do we create for our own use. Another beautiful poem.
