Rage

RAGE

 

You become engulfed in your self fire,

It destroys all within its flames.

You seek to harm them, to get revenge,

causing them sorrow and then pain.

Your hatred so black, so torrental, so deep.

It becomes out of control, and consumes you,

its ashes fall and bury your soul.

Within the guilt of harming another,

you wish you hold yourself back,

but the evil within, unrelenting.

It consumes you again,

the next time you are angry within.

This is really a fantastic piece of writing. Always keep in mind that Hatred is one of the strongest human emotions (alongside Love) and if you feel that you have been offended or damaged in anyway, you should never be afraid to obtain vengance, and NEVER hold your feelings inside, they will destroy you.
