The world doesn't care

The world doesn't care

A Poem by Anna

The world doesn't care if we didn't sleep last night.
The world doesn't care if it's been a bad day.
The world doesn't care
If someone died
Or we can't cope.
If we've been crying
Or we lost all hope.

The world doesn't care
If the trees still grow
Or snow is still cold.
The wind still blows
Or water is still wet.

So even if you've lost your job, your husband, your life.
If you've lost your money or your house
Keep one things close to heart.
"The world doesn't care"
Because its the one thing that will always be true,
and will always stay unchanged in a forever evolving world.

With beautiful poetry like this, don't you think the world cares just a little bit? ;*)

The people seem to care, sadly the harsh Canadian winter up here, doesn't. :p
you're right the world doesn't care but sometimes if you tell yhour story enough times people do.

People may eventually care yes, but this was directed towards the world not the people in it. Trees .. read more
correction, stay, unchanged.
A gloomy poem, yet it was very well written and sadly true
