How long were you crushed?

How long were you crushed?

A Poem by Shayn00n

When your                         body was trying
to die, there    were nurses’
hands harvesting                   freshearth from
your split skin.                  And said
you weren’t        going to make it.

Each pretty                               tight face,
each clean                                 uniform
unaffected                                by your
blood.How                          long were
youcrushed? Were                                          you heavy in the sun?
Did the patrons wait                                       before sweeping up
the glass?                                             Nurses hands
harvested the scraps                                                       of you from infection.

When you called my

name did you see me?

I really felt something, and that's something that's harder than we might think, really good lob. And i love the way it's set up, i could be wrong but maybe it represents a crack? Or a break? If it does i completely get what you are trying to get across, if it's not, i'm just dumb, but ether way, great job.

Such depth in this and strong emotions.
Nicely expressed.

I sat in the shed Turning the serpents tongue Poisoning words have fed Until the evenings done Evermore I feel the yearn to wander on and on Into a blazing sun And skin I will not feel Nothing will be.. more..
