In the Autumn of Words

In the Autumn of Words

A Poem by Shasha

Come to the autumn of words
Where golden words roll down
From the arms of the trees.
Where poems sweep the dust
And tales sleep with larks.
Where fairies kiss the teary sky
And mermaids hug the azure oceans.
Where moon yawns at night,
And sun dances in the ball.
Where dwarfs paint yellow everywhere,
And feed the lonely barkish moths.
Come let's sing the song of words
In the autumn of the gold words.

Author's Note

Sometimes it's not what it looks.
The title is mature enough to be hooked with a childish poem.
Just like a father holding hand of his son?!

This is quite beautiful. Simple, yet laden with hidden mysteries in colors and small fantasies.
