Heartbroken after reading it! Tears come all over eyes!

Narrator: Long ago, a little girl named Sherry lost her father and lived poorly with her mother, who was working as a shoemaker. Sherry studied in a downgrade school but has really good academic marks. However, they had a fight...
Mother: Sherry! Come here. What do you think you're doing? 99 marks on test?
Sherry: Yes! See, how excellent! The teacher praised me!
Mother: Seriously Sherry. Don't play. I expect full marks, no less!
Sherry: But...
Mother: No excuses! Have you revise? How come you got such a low mark?
Sherry: I revised it every day! It was a good mark.
Mother: How come you can't get this problem?103+232+4239+3492834+343? This is easy!
Sherry: Well, this is a challenging problem.
Mother: Then? You're grounded for a month!
Sherry: No! (go back to room)
Sherry(herself): Why? I want to leave from here. Ah...I can climb the window! It isn't really high.
(Sherry climbs down the window and met a strange lady)
Lady: Uh...it's dark outside. What are you doing here all by yourself, darling?
Sherry: I left my house from my mother. She was so strict!
Lady: Where are you going to sleep? In the street?
Sherry: I have no idea. Till my death, there's still couple of years.
Lady: Then, sleep in my home. Same for me, my husband was dead and my daughter was in America studying. I'm so lonely.
Sherry: Poor you! But thanks, I could have a house to sleep and eat.
                                  * After three days and nights *
Mother: Sherry, are you here? Sherry! Sherry!
Mother: (Walking through Lady's house)
Sherry( whispering): Don't let her know I'm here!
Mother: (Knock door)
Mother: Did you see my daughter, Sherry?
Lady: Yes, she is inside. Sherry, come out.
Sherry(to herself): No!
Mother: Sherry! I've found you!
Sherry: OK. I'm staying here. I'm never going back. Never ever.
Mother: Oh! I'm so sorry. 99 is such a excellent mark. I'm just too picky.
Sherry: I forgive you, and next time, I will get full marks. I changed my mind. Let's go home.
Mother: Lady, thanks for your care and love through Sherry. I owe you a cookie. I've just bought some. They should be yours.
Lady: I'm just helping Sherry...but I can't resist on those cookies! Thanks a lot!
Lady: (take cookie)
Mother and Sherry: (Happily every after)
Narrator: (Tears falling down)

Um... this sure sounds like a Chinese family,
grades, grades, and grades~
I'm just glad my parents aren't like this, although they expect me to do well,
but not the best of school.
How about yours?
